A Successful Coffee Morning and Valuable Advice
Added on 22/09/24

Our August coffee morning was a resounding success at The Bedford, Morison and Cordery Almshouses, thanks to the insightful presentation from Duncan from Citizen's Advice Bureau (CAB) in Watford. The event attracted a full house by residents, trustees, and guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Guest Speaker: Duncan from CAB Watford
The lively atmosphere, delicious refreshments, and Duncan's informative presentation made for a memorable event. Duncan's expertise on benefits and entitlements proved invaluable to our residents. His engaging presentation provided essential information and sparked lively discussions.

1-on-1 Benefit Reviews
Following Duncan's presentation, residents had the opportunity to schedule private one-on-one sessions to receive personalised advice.

Positive Feedback and Community Engagement
The feedback from our residents has been overwhelmingly positive. Many expressed gratitude for the opportunity to receive personalised advice and learn about potential benefits they may have been unaware of.

As Trustee Hulya noted, "The Residents coffee morning was a testament to the vibrant and supportive community at our almshouses. We are grateful to Duncan for his contribution and to our residents for their active participation."

Thank you to Duncan from CAB for his generous contribution and to all our residents for making this event a memorable success.
